More snow!
Ok, people hate when I say this, but I love winter. I love snow. I don’t love freezing rain or piercing winds. This winter is reminding me of winters when I was a kid. Still not as snowy but a lot more than we’ve been having.
So now they’re predicting 6-9 inches starting around 5 p.m. tomorrow night, through noon on Sunday. The only good thing about being without a car is that I don’t have to worry about driving in it. I get rides to and from work so I can enjoy the weather.
And I did it!! I knit one full pattern repeat (10 rows) on the scarf. The yf’s are definitely yarn overs and the twisted cable is really easy. I have to do twenty more repeats but I’m definitely enjoying this pattern. I have to remember to take a picture of the scarf when I’m done and post it. My camera died but S. got one from her mom for Christmas and I’ll use hers.
Speaking of Christmas … my tree is still up. With all the snow we might be getting, I’ll probably be home most of the weekend, so I better pack up the ornaments and stuff. We need to put the tree out in the trash for Monday. I hope they take it.
